☆♥*♥☆New Moon, New Chinese Year☆♥*♥☆

Hi Everyone,

There is a lot of exciting Cosmic happenings going on today!  Earlier today we experienced a New Moon in the iconoclast sign of Aquarius. The Chinese reigned in the Year of the Dragon!  This evening fiery Mars stations, stops dead in his tracks at 23 degrees of Virgo and appears to move backwards until turning direct on April 14 at 3 degrees of Virgo.   Mars turns retrograde approximately every 2 years.

What does this mean?  Mars is action, desire, sexuality, how we go after what we want, assertion, anger, and aggression. During this cycle all that martian energy is internalized and intensified.  When negatively internalized there my be feelings of tension and anxiety causing health issues.  When positively internalized, intensity of focus is heightened.  This is an excellent time to work on oneself, health, take up a new exercise routine and become more discerning. In Virgo, paying closer attention to details before acting on an impulse may prove beneficial.

Dragons are powerful mythological creatures offering deeply rich symbolism. Asian folks consider the Dragon a symbol of longevity and wisdom and "benevolent".  The Europeans, on the other hand, consider Dragon to be destructive and "malevolent".  Whatever your belief, Dragon is a force to be reckoned with!  For those born in a Dragon year, success is yours!
The New Moon arrived earlier this morning on the East Coast is the Dark of the Moon.  It is a time of inaction, preparation and looking within until it begins to increase in light and awareness.  The New Moon is also a "Wishing" Moon.

Make a *Wish*, Blow a Kiss to the Universe~!

☆♥*♥☆Planetary Capricorn♥*♥☆

Dear Cosmic Cohorts! ☄

If you have your…

Ascendant in Capricorn: Capricorn rising maintains a serious outer mask. Cautious to commit and spend, you possess a strong personality and self esteem. Capricorn rising folks have difficult y showing or expressing feelings. With Saturn as your ruling planet, you may at times be aloof and pessimistic or ambitious, disciplined and determined.  Old when young, and young when old clearly defines how others see you.  Stunning physical appearance, particularly the facial features~!

Moon☽  in Capricorn: Moon in Capricorn is alert, cautious, determined, and also patient in love. You may be emotionally attracted to someone older or more mature. Known for their dry sense of humor. Individuals with this placement appear unemotional and undemonstrative because it’s difficult to reveal feelings thereby appearing cold.  Self-reliant yet fearful of abandonment.

Mercuryin Capricorn: You are methodical, logical, rational, practical and dependable.  When Mercury in Capricorn speaks, others listen as you project an air of authority. May appear serious, detailed and, again, demonstrating a dry sense of humor.

Venus in Capricorn: Cautious in love, desires a partner they value. Naturally monogamous, this is the placement of one who values loyalty and faithfulness. May be possessive. Sometimes fearing rejection, this Venus may turn completely cold. Values creature comforts and material security and desires to provide the same for their loved ones.

Mars in Capricorn: Mars in this sign is energetic and hardy. This sign takes command and likes to maintain a sense of control. You are obstinate, yet passionate and "hot", distant, yet sexy and romantic. May attract an older, wiser, or mature mate and at least once in their life, maintain a "secret" love affair (may even be with a married person).

Jupiter in Capricorn: Jupiter here is ambitious.  You gradually achieve success and notoriety when disciplined.  A good business person, you manage money well, are thrifty when need be yet may be prone to those fleeting moments of extravagance.

☆♥*♥☆Happy Birthday Aquarius!☆♥*♥☆

Happy Birthday Aquarius the Water Bearer!
For those born from January 20~ February 19!
Key Phrase is “I Know”.

Aquarius is a Fixed (settled, stubborn), air (thought, intellect) sign located in the Eastern Hemisphere of the chart. Aquarius governs the 11th house of the natural zodiac engaging aspects of friendships, organizations, associations, clubs, hopes and wishes, finances of the employer, the mother’s money (it’s the 2nd house from the 10th), step children (7th from the 5th) as well as counselors, acquaintances and Astrologers. Aquarians are the entrepreneurs and philanthropists of the zodiac. You may be rebellious, intuitive, spirited, eccentric, erratic, and humanitarian. Free will and freedom of speech is important to you.

Aquarius relates to the ankles, calves, and nervous system. Illnesses may develop in the central nervous system when Uranus transits make difficult angle/aspect connections in your the chart. (conjunction, square, opposition, quindecile, parallel and quincunx).

The ancient ruler is Saturn and the modern ruling planet is the erratic and unpredictable Uranus. In traditional astrology, Saturn is responsible, imposing structure and discipline to whatever it touches.  Uranus is a derelict because he brings sudden, unexpected change into ones life. The Tower in the Tarot Deck comes to mind. Uranus transits often manifest some type of catastrophic change to ones life. If Uranus is strong in the chart, you may be drawn to unusual, creative, non-conforming or anti-establishment ideas and associations. Aquarians are known for their inventiveness, being a little “off the top” possessing no interest in convention. Uranus rules electricity, the Internet and yes, Astrologers! Some people think Astrologers are a little “weird”!! It’s not that we are, you know, it’s just that we have a unique way of perceiving the world and others. Because Aquarian’s are so “quirky” they may have a sense or feeling outcast or even a feeling of being adopted by their family of origin. They don’t always feel they fit in.
Uranus is “electric” and rules the nervous system and the ankles/lower calf. Even the astrological glyph for Aquarius resembles electric waves. Other health issues to watch during a Uranus transit might manifest in excessive nervous energy, sciatic pain, ankle or calf cramps, edginess, nervous irritability, inability to fall or stay asleep, anxiety and tension.

When Uranus transits forming a 180 degree angle with natal Uranus at approximately age 41-43, this is called the Uranus Opposition, or what mainstream folk coined the Mid-life crisesKundalini energy forces expression during this time and that enthusiastic energy expresses itself desiring to break free from any perceived restriction or from the status quo. Marriages and relationships come up for review and/or undergo tremendous changes, while some may end completely. Sometimes a long term relationship finally cement and people marry, while other relationships end, or the dynamics of that relationship change.

The Universe offers a variety of unique and different encounters, events, and draws upon different types of experiences.  During this time, associations with others of a different background, age group, value system, cultural backgrounds, new hobbies and interests other than what's comfortable, seduces one into unique forms of experience.  Any attempt to limit or retrain ones individuality will be fought will intense rebellion.
Uranian Aquarians think “out of the box”. They are iconoclasts, futurists, technology guru's and inventors of the zodiac. We admire and love their unique ability in accurately assessing and understanding people and circumstances which they have not ever experienced or met.

I’d love to tell you, stay inside the lines.
But something’s better on the other side.

☆♥*♥☆Capricorn/Cancer~Relationships☆♥*♥☆

Knowing your partners 7th house cusp (the relationship house) and the ruler of that house indicates the type of partner you may attract or are attracted to and the method of relating within that relationship.
The Ascendant or Rising sign is the sign rising on the horizon at the time of birth. This is the face we show the world, our “mask” for which our Sun☉  hides. This is our outer personality, temperament and disposition as well as how we experienced our early home environment growing up. It is the way others see us and also gives indication of our physical appearance. The ruler of the Ascendant and the aspects (connections to other planets in your birth chart) further delineate and define your physical appearance.
The Descendant, or 7th house cusp, its ruler and the aspects it makes, symbolizes the type of partner you are attracted to. The 7th house is the house of all partnerships including marriage and legal contracts yet also considered the house of open enemies or the Defendant in a law suit.
In relationships, Capricorn♑  has a planetary rulership with karmic Saturn♄ . If you have a Capricorn Ascendant, you appear responsible, mature, controlled, serious, reserved, warm, friendly, physically attractive and determined. Others look to you for advice and seek wisdom in your presence.
With Lunar ruled Cancer  on the descendant you seek a home loving, family oriented person, one who will make a good marriage partner. Attraction to a partner with those qualities who is nurturing, good parenting skills, enjoys cooking, easily expresses emotions and feelings and who is financially responsible, is likely. A man with Capricorn on the Ascendant may be physically attracted to the female form, particularly the breasts.
One of the first aspects to view in the chart of a potential partner is their Moon ☽  placement. Since the Moon rules your descendant and it's behavioral qualities within the chart, it may also manifest and be felt within your relationship with that person.  Because the Moon rules your relationship house, it is important that your partner's Lunar placement makes positive aspects as the quality of those aspects will play out and express within the relationship.
It is also possible for a Capricorn Ascendant to attract a partner who has Saturn or the Moon prominent in their chart. Prominent Saturn would be in aspect to the Sun, Moon, Mars or Venus or elevated in conjunction to the MC (10th house cusp)or IC (4th house cusp) conjunct or ruling their Ascendant or Descendant or Sun sign in Capricorn.
Knowing the date, time and place of birth is important in determining the Ascendant, or Rising sign, the sign rising on the horizon at the time of birth. This cusp sets up all other house cusps dividing the areas of life.

☆ ♥*♥☆Epiphany~12 Days after Christmas☆ ♥*♥☆

The 12th day after Christmas, January 6th, is the day of Epiphany. Epiphany occurs only 2 days before the January 9th  Full Cancer Moon culmination at 18+ degrees.  An epiphany is a realization, an aha or that inner sense of illumination of a thing or feeling that was not there previously. It's the comprehension of the essence of a thing, as in a discovery. In some cultures it's a time for baking of the King’s cake. It is a celebration for The Three Kings or Three Wise Men. According to an old legend based on a Bible story, these three Kings saw, on the night when Christ was born, a bright star, and followed it to Bethlehem. There the Christ-child was discovered and he was presented with gold, frankincense, and myrrh.

Epiphany is a time of ritual and celebration. One such ritual is a Burning Bowl Ceremony, also performed during Eclipses and New Moons. This ceremony provides an opportunity to meditate and reflect on aspects of life, behaviors, thought forms, beliefs and perspectives that are no longer useful and then release them in preparation for entrance into a new cycle.

Starting your Epiphany ritual, first prepare your space. Burning sage cleanses negative energy and your aura. If sage isn't a favorite, simply fan the air around your body and space, opening windows briefly as it's quite cold where many  reside. Reiki practitioners may send a special "symbol" into each corner of the room. Sprinkling your favorite essential oil (my preference is Lavender) connects its scent to a memory feeling. Then take a moment to quiet your thoughts, connecting to your heart, Guides, and Angels and write what you are leaving behind; what's being released. Take a deep breath in, then exhale and center again. I'll use tiny pieces of paper or small post-its and write one thought on each slip. After writing want you want to release, place them in a fireproof bowl and allow it to burn. Let them all go. Let them burn, vanishing from your life. Poof~! Gone, up in smoke~!
After you've released what is no longer useful, take a moment to quiet your thoughts and focus on what you want to bring into your life. Take a deep breath in, then exhale, and center. Again, write each of them down on small pieces of paper. Intentions with excited emotion bring them quickly into your life, so get happy~! *smile* Remember a time and place where you felt absolutely amazing, joyful and content. Focus on these feelings as you're writing your intentions. Allow yourself to get caught up in your imagination, thinking of your perfect future. "I want and I will have". These new intentions may be kept either in a space on your altar, a small pouch, bag or in a cup, or any special place. I keep new intentions in a tiny pouch inside my wallet and periodically change them when I have obtained what I want. You may also choose to burn them, sending their energy into the Universe. The choice is yours. Remember to give thanks for all you do have. *I am grateful for....* *Thank you Universe...*
Settled, knowing that outmoded, limiting thoughts and perceptions have been replaced with progressively new, growth-oriented intentions, these new perspectives feel exciting, soothing, comforting and cathartic. Now you feel amazing, grounded, fantastic, wonderful, happy, awesome, and Divinely blessed. New beginnings await you...many blessings...

Please feel free to share your own or friends Epiphany ceremonies, I'd love to hear about them. If you want to learn more about this topic and others, schedule a phone, Skype or e-mail consultation at Fuchsiastars@aol.com.
