☆♥☆ Happy Birthday Aquarius ☆♥☆

Aquarius the Water Bearer!
For those born from January 19 ~ February 18!
Key Phrase is “I Know”.

Aquarius is a Fixed (settled, stubborn), air (thought, intellect) sign located in the Eastern Hemisphere of the chart. Aquarius rules 11th house affairs engaging aspects of friendships, organizations, associations, clubs, hopes and wishes, finances of the employer, the mother’s money (it’s the 2nd house from the 10th), step children (7th from the 5th) as well as counselors, acquaintances and Astrologers. Aquarians are considered entrepreneurs and philanthropists of the zodiac and may be rebellious, eccentric, erratic, and humanitarian.
Aquarius' modern ruling planet is the erratic and unpredictable Uranus. In traditional astrology, Uranus is a derelict because he brings sudden, unexpected change into ones life. The symbolism reminds me of the Tower in the Tarot Deck. Uranus transits often triggers some type of catastrophic change to ones life. If Uranus is strong in the natal, you may be drawn to unusual, creative, non-conforming or the anti-establishment ideas and associations. Aquarians are known for their inventiveness, being a little “off the top” and have no interest in conservative convention.
Uranus also rules electricity, the Internet and yes, Astrologers! Some consider Astrologers to be a little “odd”!! It’s not that we are, you know, it’s just that we have a unique way of perceiving the world and others. Because Aquarian’s are “quirky” they may  feel outcast or have even felt adopted by their family. It is more of a vague feeling of not quite fitting in.

Aquarius relates to the ankles, calves and the nervous system. Illnesses may develop in the central nervous system when Uranus aspects (connects) to the natal chart by transit and progression (conjunction, square, opposition, quindecile, parallel and quincunx). Uranus is “electric” and may trigger spasms in the ankles/lower calf. Even the astrological glyph for Aquarius resembles electric waves. Other health issues to watch during a Uranus transit might manifest in excessive nervous energy, sciatic pain, ankle or calf cramps, edginess, nervous irritability, inability to fall or stay asleep, feeling "wired", and general feelings of tension. It is important eat foods high in magnesium or take magnesium supplements.

When Uranus transits and forms a 180 degree angle opposite natal Uranus at approximately age 41-43, this is called the Uranus Opposition, or what mainstream folk coined the Mid-life crises.  Kundalini energy forces expression during this time and that enthusiastic energy expresses itself with an intense desire to break free from any perceived restriction or from the status quo. Marriages and relationships come up for review and/or undergo tremendous changes, while some may end completely. Sometimes a long term relationship legally commit and people marry, while other relationships end, or the dynamics of that relationship change. The Universe offers a variety of unique and different encounters, events, and draws upon different types of experiences.  During this time, there may be associations with others with different sexual proclivities that seduces one into unique forms of experience. You may welcome new acquaintances of another age group, value system, cultural background, and new hobbies and interests other than the familiar and comfortable.   Any attempt to limit or restrain ones individuality will be fought will intense rebellion.
The influence of Uranus is why Aquarians tend to think “out of the box”. They are the iconoclasts, futurists, technology guru's and inventors of the zodiac. We admire and love their unique ability to accurately assess and understand people and circumstances which they have not ever experienced or met.

              "I think, therefore I am." ~ Decartes’

☆♥☆ Planetary Capricorn ☆♥☆

If you have your…

Ascendant in Capricorn: Capricorn rising maintains a serious outer mask. Cautious to commit and spend, you possess a strong personality and self esteem. Capricorn rising folks have difficulty showing or expressing feelings. With Saturn as your ruling planet, you may at times be aloof and pessimistic or ambitious, disciplined and determined.  Old when young, and young when old clearly defines how others see you.  Stunning physical appearance, particularly the facial features~!

Moon in Capricorn: Moon in Capricorn is alert, cautious, determined, and also patient in love. You may be emotionally attracted to someone older or more mature. Known for their dry sense of humor. Sometimes this placement appears unemotional and undemonstrative because it’s difficult to reveal feelings thereby appearing cold.  Self-reliant yet fearful of abandonment.

Mercury in Capricorn: You are methodical, logical, rational, practical and dependable.  When Mercury in Capricorn speaks, others listen as you project an air of authority. May appear serious, detailed and, again, demonstrating a dry sense of humor.

Venus in Capricorn: Cautious in love, this Venus desires a partner to value. Naturally monogamous, this is the placement of one who values loyalty and faithfulness. May be possessive. Sometimes fearing rejection, Venus in Capricorn may turn completely cold. Values creature comforts, material security and desires to provide the same for their loved ones.

Mars in Capricorn: Mars in this sign is energetic and hardy. This sign takes command and likes to maintain a sense of control. Obstinate yet passionate and "hot", and distant, yet sexy and romantic. May attract an older, wiser, or mature mate and at least once in their life, maintain a "secret" love affair.

Jupiter in Capricorn: Ambitious, hard worker, reaching the top through discipline and conservation.  You're not opposed to spending a lot of money on a person or object of desire yet also enjoy saving for a rainy day.

☆♥☆ 2013 Epiphany Ritual ☆♥☆

The 12th day after Christmas, January 6th, is the day of Epiphany. This year, Epiphany occurs 5 days before the January 11th  Crisis New Moon at 21+ degrees Capricorn.  A New Moon is the dark of the Moon, it cannot yet be seen in the sky.  It is a time to rest, wait, ruminate, and visualize. This Epiphany chart contains 4 planets, Saturn, Pluto, Mercury out-of-bounds (OOB), and Mars, all at 9+ degrees.   Nine (9) is the last single digit, and symbolic of The Hermit in the Tarot, the Wise Man who looks within, quite synchronous with New Moon energy.

An epiphany is a realization, an "aha" moment  or an  inner sense of illumination of a thing or feeling that was not previously felt or known. It is the comprehension of the essence of a thing, as in a discovery.  In some cultures it is a time for baking of the King’s cake. It is a celebration for The Three Kings or Three Wise Men. According to an old legend based on a Bible story, these three Kings saw, on the night when Christ was born, a bright star, and followed it to Bethlehem. There the Christ-child was discovered and he was presented with gold, frankincense, and myrrh.

Epiphany is a time of ritual and celebration. One such ritual is a Burning Bowl Ceremony, also performed during Eclipses and New Moons. This ceremony provides an opportunity to meditate and reflect on aspects of life, behavior patterns, thought forms, beliefs and perspectives that are no longer useful or serve ones higher good.  They are released in preparation for entrance into a new cycle.

Starting your Epiphany ritual, it is important to prepare your space. Burning sage cleanses negative energy and also your aura. If sage isn't a favorite, simply fan the air around your body and space, opening windows briefly as it's quite cold where many  people live this time of the year.

Reiki practitioners may send a special "symbol" into each corner of the room. Sprinkling your favorite essential oil (my preference is Lavender) connects its scent to a memory feeling. Then take a moment to quiet your mind, your thoughts, connecting to your heart, Guides, and Angels and physically write down what you are leaving behind; what is being released. Sometimes feelings surface when you're letting go of something or someone you have held onto for too long.  Let it go. Take a deep breath in, then exhale and center again. It is easy to use tiny pieces of paper or small post-it notes and write one thought on each slip or note. After writing want you want to release, place them in a fireproof bowl and allow it to burn. Let them all go. Let them burn, vanishing from your life. Poof~! Gone, up in smoke~!

I know
Caught up in the middle
I cry, just a little
When I think of letting go
Oh no...
Gave up on the riddle
I cry, just a little
When I think of letting go
When I need a healing, I just look up to the ceiling
I see the Sun coming down, I know it's all better now...
~ I Cry by Flo Rida

After you have  released what is no longer useful, take a moment to quiet your thoughts again and focus on what you want to bring into your life. Do you want to create  a new career?  A new relationship?  Peace?  Take a deep breath in, then exhale, and center. Again, write each desire  down on small pieces of paper.

Intentions with excited emotion bring them quickly into your life, so get happy~! *smile* Remember a time and place where you felt absolutely amazing, joyful and content. Focus on these feelings as you're writing your intentions. Allow yourself to get caught up in your imagination, thinking of your perfect future. "I want and I will have". These new intentions may be kept either in a space on your altar, a small pouch, bag or in a cup, or any special place. I keep new intentions in a tiny pouch inside my wallet and periodically change them when my intentions have been obtained . You may also choose to burn them, sending their energy into the Universe. The choice is yours. Remember to give thanks for all you do have.

*I am grateful for....* *Thank you Universe...*

Settled, knowing that outmoded, limiting thoughts and perceptions have been replaced with progressively new, growth-oriented intentions, these new perspectives feel exciting, soothing, comforting, and cathartic. Now you feel amazing, grounded, fantastic, wonderful, happy, awesome, and Divinely blessed. New beginnings await you...many blessings...

Remember, 3 days before the New Capricorn Moon on January 11 is the Balsamic phase, also called the Wishing Moon.... Make a *Wish*, Blow a Kiss to the Universe~!

Let there be Peace on Earth....

Please share your own Epiphany ceremonies, I'd love to hear how they work for you. If you want to learn more about this topic and others, schedule a phone, Skype or e-mail consultation at Fuchsiastars@aol.com.
