☆♥*♥☆ Hummingbird Wisdom ☆♥*♥☆

During Spring and Summer months I'll note the time of first hummingbird and dragonfly sitings.  Birds and insects are "winged-ones" and Divine messengers, each bestowing their own wisdom at precisely the correct moment in one's life.

My first hummingbird siting this year was today, Tuesday, June 28th at 11:58pm, moments before noon.  I gazed through the window at the striking orange trumpet-like flowers of our trumpet vine and saw its fleeting, iridescent, hovering image flitting from flower to flower. At that moment, the Moon☽ was in Mercury☿-ruled Gemini♊, approaching a conjunction to energetic Mars♂ , also in Gemini. Mercury, also a winged messenger, is in the Moon's☽ sign of intuitive Cancer♋. When two planets are in a sign ruled by each other's ruling planet, they form an energetic bond called a mutual reception in which their individual energy is emphasized.  Psychic impressions and astute awareness symbolizes Mercury/Moon.

Similiar to hummingbird, Gemini is quick on it's toes, or wings, exuberant, and ever fleeting.  Since emphasis to color appears on hummingbird's throat, communicating feelings and thoughts take priority.

When hummingbird appears, speaking your personal truth is most important, as time is of the essence.  Devote time and energy to experiencing joyful activities. Hummingbird denotes charm, flirting and joy in love and dating.  Phone calls, communications, invitations are all possibilities when hummingbird darts into your life!

☆♥*♥☆Transformative Dragonfly~Hummingbird Charm☆♥*♥☆

By Lorraine Valente

During the Spring and Summer I note the first sitings of hummingbirds and dragonflies.  Birds and insects are "winged-ones" and are Divine messengers, each bestowing their own wisdom at precisely the correct time in one's life.

My first hummingbird siting was on Sunday, June 6th, mid day, the day of the Moon/Jupiter conjunction in the sign of Aries. Mercury, also a winged messenger, entered it's comfort sign, Gemini on June 10th, days before the New Gemini Moon. Like the hummingbird, Aries is quick on it's toes, or wings, energetic, and ever fleeting. When hummingbird appears, speaking your personal truth is most important as time is of the essence. Hummingbird denotes charm, flirting and joy in love and dating.  Phone calls, communications, invitations are all possibilities when hummingbird darts into your life!

For the last few days though, I've been seeing dragonfly cruising amongst flowers moistened by the sprinkler.  It has been especially hot and humid on the East coast, in the 90's. Similar to the hummingbird, dragonfly "hovers".  It's form is quite delicate and lovely, silhouetted against a vibrant floral landscape.  Dragonfly is an insect, and are fascinating creatures. Dragonfly's prism-like wings are shimmering, luminescent jewels. They captivate the onlooker and possess the ability to draw one into the illusive dream state. Dragonfly is attracted to water, symbolic of emotions, intuition, illusions and the unconscious. They adapt easily to the environment and embrace a life of change.  Transformation is their keyword and is synchronous with the theme of yesterday's Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in the sign of Capricorn.

When dragonfly appears, the message is discarding what no longer serves the common good.  If it doesn't serve your Higher self, it's unnecessary. Is someone "hovering" over you, watching you? Attend to your inner life and unconscious motivations.  Then make peace with the past in order to embrace change. Remember to drift along like the wind, follow the breeze, wherever it blows...in its infinite wisdom.... knows.

Enjoy your day and remember, I'm available for consultations and readings 7 days via phone, e-mail or in-person.
