☆♥*♥☆New Moon Scorpio Solar Eclipse☆♥*♥☆

Dear Stargazers:

On October 23, 2014, there is a partial New Moon Solar Eclipse at 00' degrees of Scorpio.  Scorpio is the sign symbolic of the scorpion, serpent, eagle, phoenix, and dove; stages of psychological growth and regneration.

Both Mars and Pluto rule over contagious and infectious disease.  With Pluto, currently transiting Capricorn, and Mars transiting Out-of-Bounds (OOB) in Sagittarius less than 15 degrees apart, the likelihood of disease related outbreaks increases. The recent reported cases of Ebola confirm the possibility.  

The connection of Scorpio to the underworld is widely known and Earth eruptions are also possible.  Because Scorpio is a Water sign, we may see a very wet fall or issues surrounding water or the quality of water.  The skies opened up in New Jersey with heavy rains and severe flooding. 

With Mars and Pluto traveling so closely, in a tense square to Uranus, expect the unexpected in the news yet don't believe everything you read or hear. 

In medical astrology, Scorpio rules over the sex organs and procreation. It also rules the elimination process and the organs associated with that process ie: the colon. Blockages this his area may be emotional and/or psychological.  Scorpio is known to hold grudges and seek revenge.  I saw a post on Facebook that reminded me of Scorpio.  It was a "Karma Frog" sitting in a cross-legged yoga position.  The associated text was: "No need for revenge.  Just sit back and wait.  Those who hurt you will screw themselves." So Scorpio, what do you think about letting go to allow the Universe to take care of it? Break free by re-leasing negative thoughts and feelings.

An hour prior to the eclipse, Venus, planet of love, beauty, attraction, strife, daughters, females, and talent, leaves relationship seeking Libra entering Scorpio, the same degree of the eclipse.  A Venus eclipse is a gentle reminder of the Law of Attraction; whatever is intensely focused on is attracted into one's life. Stay centered in love.

As a reminder, Mercury is still inching backwards in the sign of Libra asking us to re-visit, re-flect and re-vise re-lationships that no longer soothe the Soul, or serve Mother Earth.  On Saturday, October 25th, Mercury stations, then moves direct on the Islamic New Year.  The very next day, Sunday the 26th, energy changes again when Mars enters Saturn-ruled Capricorn, (the military) and where its hard work and perseverance pay off. It is important to stay centered and aware when Mercury moves forward and planets change signs.

Who is effected? Individuals stimulated by this eclipse are Scorpio/Taurus (opposites), and Leo/ Aquarius (opposites) or anyone with 00 degrees in their natal, give or take 3 degrees before or after will be triggered. Solar Eclipse energy offers signs up to a month prior and may have an effect in one's life for as long as 18 months.  Solar eclipses tend to bring people, places, and things (events) into form.  I look forward to hearing how the eclipse affects you so feel free to post your own Eclipse stories below.

☆♥*♥☆New Moon Solar Eclipse☆♥*♥☆

Dear Cosmic Cohorts!☄

On Friday, November 25th we will experience a New Moon Solar Eclipse at 1:10am here on the East Coast in the USA. The New Moon occurs at 02 degrees of Sagittarius 37', rounded up to the 3rd degree. Three (3) days before every New Moon is the Balsamic Phase, the dark of the Moon, or The Wishing Moon. With each New Moon the opportunity presents to visualize that which we desire. The upcoming New Moon, Solar Eclipse portends special dynamic energy for you to manifest exactly what your heart desires!

Solar Eclipses deliver experiences, people, and events into one's life to aid personal growth over the upcoming year and up to the next 18 months. In fiery, mutable Sagittarius, higher education may be highlighted. Certainly, International affairs of every kind, including legal issues may be heightened. Watch events manifest in the News ~ As Above, So Below. Belief systems, political malcontent and related publications including freedom of speech are undergoing transformative change around the Globe. The public expression of opinion as indicated in the “Occupy” movement is one of the methods in which social change is forced upon our current social structures that no longer serve the common good. At the very least, corruption of those in high positions is being exposed. The Sagittarius Solar Eclipse joins both Sun and Moon in a cosmic tango.

A Full Moon is a culmination of energy carried forth from the previous New Moon, 14 days earlier. During a New Moon, if you visualize that which you desire, and “plant” seeds of intention, they have an opportunity to “bloom” during the next Full Moon, also a Total Lunar Eclipse, 18+ degrees Gemini on December 10th.

Desire, wanting, and intent are keys to visualizing that which you want to manifest in one’s life. If you have wanted to start a family, bring a new love into your life, switch careers, or even plan a business, now is the time to plant your personal seeds. By personal seeds I mean the thoughts you create inside your mind’s eye. Thoughts are energy and will magnetically attract like thoughts. However, you really must "believe" it can happen and have faith. (remember, Mercury is retrograde through December 14, so patience is truly a virtue!

Eclipses also mark a time of ritual. In order to make way for your new beginning, new relationship, and personal growth, it is important to rid yourself of negative thoughts and habits. One such ritual is a burning bowl ceremony. In this ceremony, all you need is a fire proof bowl; metal or glass will do, and a pen or pencil, small pieces of paper, and a lighter or matches. You may also burn sage in the bowl for clearing negativity and to cleanse your aura and surroundings.

The intention is to focus first on what you need to remove from your life. Place the words for those thoughts, feelings or experiences each on separate note of paper. An example might be “grief”, or “anxiety” or any other emotion that doesn't benefit you. You might consider removing negativity from the world such as poverty, child abuse, hunger or any other issue you feel strongly about. As you write each word, throw the word into your burning bowl and set it afire. You may do this as often as you like as there is no limit on what you may discard. As you watch your negative thoughts and behaviors burn away and dissolve, know that you are making way for new beginnings and positive energy to enter your life!

☆♥*♥☆ Manifestation ☆♥*♥☆

Next, you want to take similar strips of paper and write each and every thought and desire you want to “manifest” and bring into your life during the New Moon. However, in order for these wishes to come true, they do not get thrown into the fire and destroyed. These are kept in a separate little bag or bowl or drawer. Again, focus on that which you desire. It is not important that you perform both ceremonies at the same time. In fact, you may perform the “burning” ceremony anytime. This “manifesting” ceremony may be performed from 3 days before the New Moon, and during the "dark" of the Moon through the crescent phase. Positive thoughts mixed with strong emotions draw positive results through the mental pictures you visualize for yourself. Then meditate. Completely focus your mind and heart on your heart’s desire(s) and those “wishes” are likely to be heard! Thank you Universe!

☆♥*♥☆ Lunar Eclipse, Friday Circle☆♥*♥☆

Dear Cosmic Cohorts!☄

Late tomorrow afternoon, we have the opportunity to experience the Full Moon Lunar Eclipse at 24+degress of Sagittarius.  The Sun☉ in Gemini♊ opposes☍the Sagittarian ♐Moon.  A Full Moon is a culmination of energy from the last New Moon. An Eclipse feels more intense than a regular Full Moon. The energy of a Lunar Eclipse can generally be felt between 6-9 months depending on where it falls in your chart.

Here are the dynamic energies involved during this cosmic Eclipse:

* Mercury is OOB (out-of-bounds) at 27 Gemini 55, conjunct and ruling the Sun/South Node☋.

* The Sagittarian♐ Moon is conjunct the North Node☊ The degree of this Moon is close to the Galactic Center, 26 degrees Sagittarius♐, a black hole with unpredictable energy, symbolic of relying on its own form of truth, which may not be the truth at all!

* Sun/Moon = 24+ Pisces, Sabian Symbol for 25 Pisces = "The Purging of the Priesthood"

On July 1st, we will celebrate the New Moon Solar Eclipse at 9+ degrees of Cancer♋. The New Moon is the dark of the Moon, a time for looking within, seek inner guidance, and also for preparation. The New Moon will continue to wax, to increase in light, with each passing day up until the Full Moon, approximately 14 days later on July 15th, at 22 degrees of Capricorn.   This a time to discard that which no longer serves ones higher purpose and to, instead, plant inspirational thought seeds to germinate and subsequently bloom with emotional intensity and focus.

Three days before the New Moon is the Balsamic Phase~fondly referred to as The Wishing Moon.

☆♥*♥☆ Eclipse Ritual ☆♥*♥☆

With the upcoming Lunar Eclipse in the last degree of Gemini, I want to share ritual I often use during various Moon cycles. One such ritual is a Burning Bowl Ceremony. This ceremony provides an opportunity to meditate and reflect on aspects of life, behaviors, thought forms, beliefs and perspectives that are no longer useful and then release them in preparation and entrance into a new cycle.

First prepare your space. Burning sage cleanses the space and your aura. Reiki practitioners may send a special "symbol" into each corner of the room. Sprinkling your favorite flower essence connects its scent to a memory.  Then take a moment to quiet your thoughts, connecting to your heart, Guides and Angels and write what you are leaving behind; what's being released. Take a deep breath in, then exhale and center again.  I'll use tiny pieces of paper or small post-its and write one thought on each slip.  After writing want you want to release, place them in a fireproof bowl and allow it to burn. Let them all go.  Let them burn, vanishing from your life.  Poof~! Gone..up in smoke~!

After you've released what's no longer useful, take a moment to quiet your thoughts and focus on what you want to bring into your life.  Take a deep breath in, then exhale, and center.  Again, write each of them down on small pieces of paper.  Intentions with excited emotion bring them quickly into your life, so get happy~!  *smile* Remember a time and place where you felt absolutely amazing, joyful and content. Focus on these feelings as you're writing your intentions. Allow yourself to get caught up in your imagination, thinking of your perfect future.  "I want and I will have". These new intentions may be kept either in a space on your altar, a small pouch, bag or in a cup.  You may also choose to burn them, sending their energy into the Universe.  The choice is yours.  Remember to give thanks for all you do have.

Settled in knowing outmoded, limiting thoughts have been replaced with progressively new, growth-oriented intentions, these new perspectives feel exciting, soothing, comforting and cathartic.  Now you feel amazing, fantastic, wonderful, happy, awesome, and Divinely blessed.

☆♥*♥☆ Winter Solstice~Yule~Lunar Eclipse ☆♥*♥☆

There's so much frustrated energy building in the cosmos. On December 5th we experienced a New Moon at 13+ degrees Sagittarius. On the same day, Uranus turned direct, causing a bit of a stir. For those born around December 12, 13, 14, that New Moon degree would have been triggered.

December 21 is the Winter Solstice and by mid afternoon, here on the East Coast, a Full Moon Total Lunar Eclipse marks the Sun's entrance into Capricorn. Capricorn's cardinal energy is dynamic. It signifies action, initiative, activity and leadership ability. Cardinal folks are the ones who create new projects, start new businesses, experience many physical moves, and always initiating something. This coming Tuesday, December 21st, the Full Moon Total Lunar Eclipse takes place at the last degree of Gemini, 29+ degrees conjunct Hades, also at 29+ Gemini.  The 29th degree is considered an "ending" of sorts. Individuals with ending degrees, the 29th degree, tend to hold onto things signified by the 29th degree planet. Individuals born between June 20-23, as well as individuals with these degrees (28, 29, 00, 01) in their chart will feel the effects of this Eclipse's energy most, particularly as it triggers the Aries point~00 Aries, by square. 

Mercury is transiting retrograde at 26+ degrees Sagittarius, conjunct the Galactic Center, moving backwards, away from the Sun opposite Moon/Hades.  The Hades glyph is that of the Crescent Moon with the Cross of Matter.

The December 21 Full Moon Eclipse will be the first Total Lunar Eclipse in nearly 3 years, the last being on February 20, 2008. The length of the Eclipse is 72 minutes, every minute, correlates to a year.  The December 21 Eclipse is part of Saros Cycle, 13 North, which includes the January 4, 2011 Solar Eclipse 14 Capricorn, according to Bernadette Brady's Eagle and the Lark. A Lunar Eclipse affects us on a deep, emotional level, generally over the upcoming 6 -9 months. Pay attention to themes, people, and events that may enter your life a few weeks prior and during this time.  Remember to look back just about 19 years ago for similar themes.  What were they and how do those past events and themes relate to what's happening in your life now?

Five months earlier, on the 21st of July, Saturn re-entered Venus-ruled Libra and hovers there until October, 2012. Saturn rules structure, karma, teaching, and one's career (to name a few) and positioned in Libra, focuses energy in the area of relationships. Saturn-ruled Capricorn has much to reconsider, especially during retrograde Mercury. Many relationships are being tested, restructured or have end while others will start anew. The January 4th Solar Eclipse, is Saturn-ruled.

During this holiday season, be mindful of your own and others actions. Dramatic events have been and will continue to appear in the news. We're undergoing a tremendous amount of change deep within the collective psyche as well as deep within the Earth. Visualize, in your mind's eye, what most brings happiness to your life. Hold a picture of our beautiful oceans filled with glorious sea life, dolphins smiling and playfully gliding along in their pods. Focus a small portion of your thoughts to healing our Planet. Mother Nature feels distress. She needs to feel some positive healing energy and support because she's been grossly neglected. Practice patience, tolerance, forgiveness, gratitude, and acceptance during your days. Take your vitamins, exercise, smile, kiss your children, lover, cat and/or dog, look within, and enjoy plenty of rest.
